Jan is a passionate designer who focuses on creating strong concepts to drive innovation in the mobility sector. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Product Design with honours from Aachen, Germany. During his studies, he undertook a semester abroad at the RMIT University in Melbourne, where he deepened his knowledge in business and design management. He then pursued a Master's degree in Intelligent Mobility at the prestigious Royal College of Art in London, which he finished in 2023. Before his Master's, Jan had the opportunity to take on the design lead for the EVTOL research project “Skycab”. Throughout the project, Jan implemented VR Design in close collaboration with the engineers to design Skycab, the result, was then finally translated as a full-scale design mock-up. Currently he is working at the Mazda Motor Europe R&D Center in Frankfurt, Germany.

His work has garnered several awards and nominations, including the German Design Award-Newcomer and CarDesignNews Award - Undiscovered Talent. Looking ahead in his career, Jan aims to create designs that inspire not only other designers but also engineers, investors, and future customers. He firmly believes in the power of design to foster a shared vision, uniting people to build a better future with innovation and timeless aesthetics.
